Human-Computer Interaction • Calm Technology • Soft Futures

About Me

I'm Sebi, a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) student and researcher with a focus on sustainable design, critical technology, and human-centered digital practices.

In my work, I explore how technology can create spaces of calm, connection, and reflection. I believe in crafting interactive artifacts that slow us down, invite presence, and nurture meaningful encounters with ourselves, others, and our environments.

What kind of space holds us without asking us to perform?

Often, I design what I long for: spaces that are soft, quiet, and non-demanding, where you can simply be. Whether it's a web experience, an interactive table, or a tangible artefact, this question guides my practice.

My design process combines critical thinking, technical prototyping, and an intuitive search for resonance. I'm especially interested in:

  • Slowness and non-intrusive interaction
  • Rituals and ambient awareness
  • Technology as a medium for human presence
  • Scent, light, and subtle feedback as interaction languages

This website is a collection of that exploration, and maybe an invitation to pause.

Let's create softer futures.
